Werkgevers van internationals

Scholen die hun docenten en leerlingen voorbereiden op internationalisering

Training / workshop for employers, managers and HR-professionals

Do you want to make the collaboration within your multicultural team a success? Do you want to hire new team members with a different cultural background?

Book a tailor-made workshop and learn to maneuver successfully through the multicultural landscape.

For whom?

For entrepreneurs, employers, managers and HR professionals who experience obstacles or want to prevent them in their multicultural teams.

Why?

How do you ensure that the multicultural cooperation or cultural change runs smoothly, so that knowledge and energy is not lost in unintentional misunderstandings, hassle and wrong expectations?

Work successfully with internationals / expats and invest in sustainable connections

In the Brainport region, more and more entrepreneurs are choosing to work with international professionals.

The international professionals/expats bring valuable knowledge and new perspectives. Working together with internationals can therefore offer enormous enrichment.

At the same time, working with people from different cultures requires extra attention to intercultural aspects.

Without proper guidance, the transition to a new (work) culture can be challenging for expats and their teams, as well as for employees who are already there.

Cultural differences can – unintentionally – lead to misunderstandings, reduced involvement, stagnation, irritation or turnover. Misunderstandings, misunderstandings or hassles can cause talent to leave prematurely, with all the consequences that entails.

Employers, managers and HR professionals learn how background, language and values influence multicultural collaboration.

We work on cross-cultural leadership skills, communication and building trust in multicultural teams.

The workshops are practical, interactive and there is time to bring in your own dilemmas.

In this way, the workshop does not stop at generalities, but the participants are given concrete tools and handles to get started right away. Thus, the workshops offer insight into what is going on under the surface and concrete tools to strengthen the collaboration in a sustainable way.

Training / workshop for scholen

Do you want to prepare your students for the international and multicultural society like in BRAINPORT?

PURPOSE

Our society is rapidly becoming more international and multicultural.

Especially in the BRAINPORT REGION, the number of internationals is growing.

Pupils and students will inevitably have to deal with this internationalisation.

The aim of this workshop is to prepare students for living and working in that multicultural society.  Through the workshop, they increase multicultural awareness and lay a fertile foundation for intercultural cooperation.

After all, unknown makes unloved and with that there can be resistance and hassle between people. However, we need each other. Society is desperate for well-qualified and skilled talent. It is a given that our society is so international.

The greatest gift we can give our young people is to increase their awareness and to teach them to deal well with that multicultural setting, so that the cooperation runs smoothly and they experience it as enriching.

We start small, in line with their own perception of the world and then enlarge that world.

INVESTMENT?

The investment is Euro 500.00 for half a day. In half a day 2 to 3 workshops can be given to groups of +/- 2o students each.

FOR WHOM?

For students of 5 and 6 VWO and other interested groups.

Contact me for a consultation about the workshop without any obligation.

I really like this!!

Student at a workshop at Eckartcollege

The students really learned a lot!

J. Perry, docent Eckart college

We asked Manon to provide a workshop for vwo 5 students. The assignment was to introduce students to possible problems in cultural differences that expats experience. She has done this in a nice playful way by first having students position themselves in relation to different statements/words. In this way, she activated students only to be confronted with some cultural differences. The students were very positive about the workshop. They also learned a lot about themselves.
In terms of organization, it was pleasant working with Manon. If the topics allow it, we wish to continue the cooperation in the future.
